HOPE Charter Broadcasting & Drama Electives: Clare Edwards Myer is a Drama & Broadcast Teacher for the HOPE Charter School for At-Risk inner city high school students in the Philadelphia School District. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Arcadia University in Theatre Arts & English where she graduated with departmental honors. Mrs. Myer then auditioned and received a full acting scholarship for a Master of Arts in Theatre, Acting Concentration from Villanova University. There she honed her acting, directing and script anaylsis skills from her mentors, the Mad Woman of Philadelphia Theatre, Irene Baird, and from Dr. Joanna Rotte. Mrs. Myer is triple certified in Secondary English, Elementary Education and as a Program Specialist in English as a Second Language. She is applying for her Instructional II Teaching Certificate. Mrs. Myer enjoys training at the Apple Store to improve her technology skills. Most of all, she loves teaching Drama & Broadcasting electives to her HOPE Charter School students.
